Perthshire has some of the most remarkable trees, woodlands and country gardens in Europe and is stunning at any time of year. During winter you can't beat an early morning walk through crisp frost covered woodlands or an atmospheric stroll through mist enshrouded trees. Just a short trip can take you to Europe's oldest tree, the world's highest hedge, the sole survivor from Shakespeare's 'Birnam Wood' ... and it doesn’t stop there. Explore the web site above and find out why Big Tree Country is much more than big and famous trees.
