Aberfeldy nestles in a bend of the River Tay some 30 miles north of Perth and is surrounded by the mountains and glorious landscapes of Highland Perthshire.
Whether you are looking for a romantic hideaway, a honeymoon in the Highlands, a log cabin, a family vacation in Scotland, an activity break, a small holiday cottage or for a group of friends get together, we have the ideal self catering vacation cottage accommodation for you.
We provide all guests with towels and bedding ( duvets) for each bed in the cottage plus a high chair and a travel cot for children. We would suggest that you bring your own child’s bedding for the travel cot. We can also arrange responsible babysitting if required.
All the properties have full central heating and the full range of kitchen appliances. Some properties incorporate Jacuzzis, saunas and conservatories, while others sleep 7 and 8 people comfortably and have large safe gardens for children.
Four of our properties are all within 30 to 40 metres of each other and they surround a large quarter acre, landscaped, private secure garden, which can provide the perfect venue for a group or family get together such as a study group or a landmark birthday party or anniversary event. Up to 24 people can be comfortably accommodated within the four surrounding properties of Appletree, Lavender, Lilac and Laurelbank Cottages.
Every conceivable facility and amenity is within easy reach. It is hard to imagine a more comprehensive range of outdoor activities ranging from the more passive golf and fishing to the adrenaline pumping white water rafting and canyoning activities in the nearby River Tay and Tummel.
In addition, you can walk, cycle or tour the wonderful Scottish Highland countryside by car, fish the rivers and lochs for trout or salmon, play on some of Scotland's finest golf courses, tour malt whisky distilleries, historic houses and castles or simply bask in the scenery, peace and tranquillity.
We are happy to take one well-behaved pet at all our properies except Panmure. Two dogs may be allowed after discussion with Geoff or Susan. Each pet is charged at a price of £20.00 per week or part thereof.
Owners should bring their own bowls, bedding and towels to dry the dog before entering the cottage and animals should not be allowed on furniture or beds nor left on their own in the cottage.
Care should also be taken where dogs are exercised. Gardens and lawns around the cottages should be avoided. There are numerous public open spaces and walkways within a short walking distance from all the properties.
